Let’s have fun inventing! At this camp, students will work in teams to make their own inventions. Through ‘trial and error’, each student will discover the joy of inventing. And have fun using English!

Meet the teachers!
Peter Thomson
Lead Teacher
Peter loves to explore and learn new things. He has been teaching English in Japan since 1988. He has taught at private English schools and universities. He leads the elementary, Jr. High and Sr. High classes at flipENGLISH. In addition to teaching, he trains and equips English teachers working in Japan, and teaches language acquisition to families preparing for overseas work.
Wendi Thomson
Teacher
Wendi has been teaching English in Japan since 1989. She leads the adult classes at flipENGLISH with the goal of improving fluency in everyday English and introducing the culture of American English. She also taught English for 10 years in a public elementary school and loved that experience. Wendi enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She has four children.
Meiko Miyauchi
Teacher
Meiko teaches Flip’s Kindergarten classes. She lived in the US for 7 years. There, she worked as a preschool teacher at a Japanese Language School for children of Japanese expatriates. After coming back to Japan, she has been working as an English supporter at elementary schools in Sanda. While growing up, Meiko lived outside of Japan for a long time and has various experiences of different cultures. She graduated from Jakarta International School and has a B.A. from Oregon State University. She loves spending time with children. She likes listening to music, singing and enjoys spending time with her family.
Mark Rowdon
Teacher
Mark has taught English for four years to students ranging from kids to adults. During this time he has taught over 4,000 private, one-on-one lessons, with lessons specializing in conversational abilities, grammar skills, and reading comprehension. His goal is for his students to have fun while improving their English comprehension and working towards their personal goals.

Our desire is for every student to learn the English skills they need to communicate well. In the context of communication, we teach the necessary grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, intonation and writing skills.
フリップの願いは、すべての生徒がうまくコミュニケーションをとれるための英語能力を学び、身につけることです。コミュニケーションに必要不可欠である文法、単語、発音、イントネーション、そして筆記能力を教えます。

We want students to develop a healthy attitude towards English. English is not just about ‘study’, it’s about communicating. We have fun in class, which we believe leads to success.

What to bring: 筆記用具
参加費
■ キャンプ参加費に含まれるもの：料金¥ 6,000/一人 。この中には英語レッスン、教材、lunch、お菓子と保険代が含まれています。
■キャンプ参加費に含まれないもの：キャンプまでの交通費。また、送迎は各ご家庭でお願いします。
お申込み条件
お子様(20 歳未満)のご参加については、保護者自筆の参加申込書が必要です。
申込書を提出してから、１０日以内にキャンプ参加費をお支払いください。期間内に申込金のお支払いがなされなかっ た場合、当法人はご予約はなかったものとして取扱います。
キャンセル料について
キャンプ開始日の前日から起算して
10 日以前は無料,
10 日~5日前まで参加費の20%
4日~キャンプ前日まで参加費の50%
キャンプ開始当日参加費の100%
最少催行人員
各キャンプの最少催行人員は5人です。これに満たない場合、キャンプを中止することがあります。その場合、キャンプ開始日の前日から起算して13日目に当たる日より前にキャンプを中止する旨をご連絡いたします。
