Peter Thomson (English Teacher)
Peter has been teaching English in Japan since 1988. He has taught at private English schools and universities. He leads the elementary, Jr. High and Sr. High classes at flipENGLISH. In addition to teaching, he trains and equips English teachers working in Japan, and teaches language acquisition to families preparing for overseas work.

His hobbies are walking, computers, listening to music and spending time with his family.
Peter has a B.A. from Vanguard University.
Mark Rowdon (English Teacher)
Mark has taught English for over three years to students from kids to adults. This is his first year working at Flip, and he is excited to get to know his students more and help them gain confidence in their English abilities. His goal is for his students to have fun while improving their conversational English and comprehension.
In his free time he enjoys watching sports, playing board games, and going on walks.
Mark has a B.S. in Nursing from George Mason University, as well as a Teaching English as Second Language Certification from Ontesol.
Meiko Miyauchi (English Teacher)
Starting in 1991, Meiko previously taught English to 3~12-year-old children at a private English school for several years. She then moved to the U.S. due to her husband’s assignment and lived there for 7 years. There, she worked as a preschool teacher at a Japanese Language School for children of Japanese expatriates. After coming back to Japan, she has been working as an English supporter at elementary schools in Sanda. While growing up, Meiko lived outside of Japan for a long time and has various experiences of different cultures. She graduated from Jakarta International School and has a B.A. from Oregon State University. She loves spending time with children. She likes listening to music, singing and enjoys spending time with her family.
Wendi Thomson (English Teacher)
Wendi has been teaching English in Japan since 1989. She leads the adult classes at flipENGLISH with the goal of improving fluency in everyday English and introducing the culture of American English. She also taught English for 10 years in a public elementary school and loved that experience. Wendi enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She has four children.
Wendi has a B.A. from the University of Washington where she majored in International Studies.
Laura Rowdon (Community Engagement)
Laura oversees the community engagement of Flip as well as assists in administration. She has worked in administration for four years in both non-profit and business settings. Her hope is to involve the local community in all the programs flipENGLISH has to offer.
In her free time she likes to bake, explore, and read books.
Laura has a B.S. in Anthropology from Minnesota State University.
Kesihi also serves as NPO法人教育政策ラボラトリ副理事長.
